  My son and I stopped by for a quick late lunch. We had the nachos a couple months ago in Gaylord's location. They were super ! However our visit here was sadly not even close .
  We ordered the same appetizer.. it came out cold- after a very long wait.. sloppy and missing many ingredients...  out server never came back to do an entree check. Our waters were empty .. so we flagged down another lady and asked if they were now suppose to be served cold? She took them. Finally our server came back. Said she was getting new order..... the second one came out worse.  I explained to her when she finally came back, it was missing ingredients and still not hot. It was removed from bill and we gave it back to her. Ordered a cheeseburger.. we were so hungry by then we just ate it. Honestly it was no better than Burger King.
  Bummed , we were looking at take out the night before on Yelp- glad we didn't order the nachos as we planned and waited to go in person. How disappointing. Service was slow..  next-

  My boyfriend and I stopped here this past Saturday. We both couldn't remember the last time we were at an Applebee's after less than stellar service and food.
  
  We both wanted a quick bite to eat and a mudslide after I got off work. We met at 11:30pm. The place was fairly busy but we were seated right away.
  
  The service was great! Our waitress made sure we were all taken care of.
  
  We both ordered a mudslide (probably should have split one because we both barely had half! So huge) delicious though!
  
  I had the chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend had the brisket quesadilla. I had a free coupon thanks to yelp check in and my boyfriend's was half off thanks to happy hour.
  
  Pretty decent size and filled me up. Came with sour cream and salsa for no additional charge.
  
  The menu was pretty large and a bit pricey but for happy hour I could see myself coming back!

  This was heading for a five star, but there was a bit of an issue. First they had a great check-in offer which was a free app, so kudos. We started with mozzarella sticks and as in the past, they were delightful. We haven't been here in years, but they're still good. The location had also been remodeled, so it has a nice feel.
  
  We got chicken tenders and Santa Fe wrap and added salads. Now here's the rub; the chicken was good as was the wrap, but one of our salads had a lil bug in it. Nothing crazy, maybe some sort of fruit type fly or garden buggy flying thing. The staff was very responsive and took the salad off the bill, but also took the chicken tenders off.
  
  Now I think some may rate them lower, but I think it was handled well, and we've had some unfortunate luck with salads lately.
  
  The prices have raised, but so have the menu items. Overall I think the place has potential; I enjoyed the food while the wife didn't like any of it, so hence the mid-ground 3 review I guess.

  I'm trying to lose weight. Nevermind how much. As a result, when I go to a restaurant these days, I check out how healthy their menu is, whether or not they provide food for those on a diet, and how flexible they are switching up an order to a person's special requests.
  
  Applebee's did well. The menu has a lot of variety.  Its friendly for kids, good for the bar crowd. There's yummy meals for those who dont give a damn about their weight loss, and there are a few dishes for us porkoes.
  
  I had grilled chicken, with only a hint of lemon sauce. I substituted rice for an extra vegetable, and I was good to go.
  
  High protein, low fat, high fiber dinner. Service was great.
